In this image I can see pattern from the broken fence as well as the power lines I like the colour of the sky. The external lighting used here would have been placed behind the car, in the boot of the car, behind the subject, also the light from the house and further down on the street there could even quite possibly be a light source near the trees as some of the leaves have been lit up. This image makes me feel like something disastrous has happened with the car flipped and everything scattered on the ground.

Gregory Crewdson is an American photographer and known for his tableaux photographs of American homes and neighbourhoods.
I chose to use Gregory Crewdson as one of my research models for my portfolio project because I have been working alot with the lighting kit borrowed from the faculty I love using this lighting kit I have a thing for external lighting I love how I am able to light up a darkened space. I also like how the lighting kit produces shadow because it gives abit of drama to images.

Talk about how Gregory Crewdson has lit each of these images. How many different light sources and where are they coming from. Also, what do you think each of these photographs is about? What genre is Crewdson working in? How does his ideas relate to yours?
